DEER PARK REACTOR
Consolidated Crane & Rigging was contracted to provide all the equipment and man power required to install two 80,000-pound reactors—each valued at over $1 million.
The first step was unloading the reactors in the nearby lay-down yard, where they were stored until construction was completed onsite. From there, our team loaded the reactors on our trucks for transport. Once onsite, our riggers assisted the two cranes in rendering the reactor vessels from horizontal to vertical. To complete the job, we used our 250-ton truck crane and riggers to carefully lift and set the vessels in place.
