When The George Bush Presidential Library launched its exhibit, “Offshore Drilling: The Promise of Discovery” at the Texas A&M University library, Consolidated Crane was there to lend a hand. We helped assemble the exhibit that tells the story of offshore drilling. The exhibit highlights the technological innovations of the oil and gas industry, as well as the former president’s involvement.

During his career in oil and gas, George H. W. Bush worked on both land and in the Gulf of Mexico. He had helped develop the independent leg jack-up rig, Scorpion, which was launched in 1956.
