It takes experienced rigging professionals to safely set oak trees using specialized rigging and crane services without damaging the stressed flora. With precision equipment and experienced operators, our crew carefully lifted and positioned oak trees to preserve root structure and ensure proper placement in a residential setting near Bluejack National. We minimized ground disturbance while handling the heavy, delicate loads with care.
Great crane operators don’t just place trees, we help them survive.
When a crane operator is transplanting and setting trees with a crane, the job is a mix of rigging precision, plant biology, and site awareness all at the same time. The biggest risks aren’t just dropped loads. The biggest issues can be tree failure weeks later if the move stresses the tree.
Bluejack National is refined and wild at the same time, so we did everything we could to maintain the beauty and infrastructure on residential projects like this one. Our expertise has allowed property owners and landscape contractors achieve dramatic, established-tree installations that enhance the natural beauty and long-term value of the area.

Setting Trees North of Houston
In Montgomery County, we were dealing with mixed soils of sand and clay. Though the sandy loam over clay can look firm, the reality is that these looks are incredibly deceiving.
Outriggers can pump and settle under the heavy load, and there can be radius creep as the soil compresses, so we use larger mats. In taking care of the tree, we’re aware that sides of the hole can collapse, so we double check it with extra prep before we start the lift. In the cold, after rains, we kept our good eye on weight creep and really made sure to focus on smooth boom movement. Our pros avoid letting the root ball sit on loose soil while aligning it. Lastly, we know that oaks hate being buried, so we make sure the root flare is visible.
Oak or Pine Tree Installation
Success hinges on weight discipline, root ball protection, correct grade, and soil awareness.
We know how to safely transplant trees from start to finish. The best crane operators think one step ahead… “Will this tree still be healthy after two Texas summers?”
