We were contacted by an elevator company to install chillers and boilers for the new Texan Children’s Hospital facility in The Woodlands, as well as set motors on top of the elevator shafts using A-frame gantries.
Our team of drivers and rigging professionals provided rental cranes and exacting rigging over several mobilizations to get the job and lift the chillers and boilers inside the building.
Then, cooling towers were carefully lifted by the cranes to the plant’s roofs and air handler units on multiple floors of the building. The air handlers were lifted through the side of the penthouse through an opening with a 3-foot wedge at the bottom.
