Crane Operators Job Opportunity – Large NCCCO TLL Hydraulic Operators Wanted

As Consolidated Crane & Rigging continues to grow as a company, we are seeking multiple experienced and safety-conscious Crane Operators to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of large hydraulic crane operations, the ability to follow safety protocols, and a strong commitment to precision and efficiency in lifting and moving materials.

Operate various types of mobile cranes to lift, move, position, or place machinery, equipment, and other large objects at construction sites, ports, and industrial facilities.

Inspect cranes for safety issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure equipment is in safe operating condition. Read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and other technical documents to determine the safe and efficient way to lift and move materials. Follow safety protocols and adhere to company and regulatory guidelines to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.  Communicate with riggers, ground personnel, and other team members to coordinate safe and efficient crane operations. Keep accurate records of crane operations, maintenance, and inspections. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid crane operator certification (NCCCO or equivalent) is required. Minimum of 3 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of crane operations, load charts, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and load charts. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commercial Driver License (class A or class B) with a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, climbing, and working in various weather conditions. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
